The collections in the Library

Main Collection

Most of the items on your reading lists are in this collection. It begins on the ground floor and continues on the first and second floors.

Film and TV

Films, documentaries and television series on DVD, arranged in alphabetical order by title. Located on the ground floor.

Classroom Resources

A collection of teaching resources which supports trainee teachers, particularly on placement. Located on the ground floor.

Dissertations

Some dissertations from previous years are located in locked display cases on the ground floor. Request at the Library Helpdesk.

Print Journals

We have some current print journal titles and back runs of journals that we don't have online. Located on the second floor.

Display Cases

Fragile, valuable, rare or restricted access items are in locked display cases. Request to use them in the Library at the Library Helpdesk.

Additional information

Inter-site reservations service

If you’d like to borrow a book that is available at the Leeds City Campus library but not the Horsforth Campus Library, you can use the inter-site reservations service to reserve it (so long as it is available on the shelves and not on loan), and it will be delivered to the Horsforth Campus Library for you to collect.
