Once your application has been received we should be able, if approved, to produce your membership card within seven working days.
You will be notified when your card is available for you to collect.
All external members can borrow a total of 5 items on a two week loan period.
Your loans will be renewed automatically for nine months, unless they are reserved by another borrower.
After nine months, you will need to return the items. We will remind you two days before items are due back, and we will remind you when items are one day, one week, and two weeks overdue.
We don't charge fines but you will be liable to pay a £15 replacement charge if items are not returned after the due date. See our page on fines and charges for more information.
Unfortunately, you will not be able to reserve items that are out on loan. If you have any queries about your account please contact us.
