Students can use the Connect2 online room booking system to book a study space in the Andrew Kean Learning Centre at the Horsforth Campus.
You can make one booking each day, for a maximum of three hours. Bookings beyond this may be cancelled without notice, to enable other users to have fair access to the rooms.
For more information on using the booking system, take a look at our step-by-step guide:
If you are experiencing noise or disruption in the Library, don’t suffer in silence! Please let us know about it so we can help:
The Library is a quiet space for everyone to work in. We provide social areas and Group Study Rooms for those who need to talk, but noise levels do have to be kept low in all areas of the Library to enable everyone to work there.
Anyone making excessive noise in the Library may be asked to leave, as outlined in our Acceptable Use Policy and the University Student Conduct and Discipline Code:
We encourage staff to consider alternative meeting spaces elsewhere on campus, but will consider staff requests for booking study spaces under exceptional circumstances. Requests should be emailed to Nick Goodfellow and to the Library User Services Managers, who will respond as quickly as possible. At busy times of year, requests may not always be able to be accommodated.
