Collections in the Library

The new library contains the essential textbooks and materials for students based at the Leeds City Campus.

Accessing the library

The library is located on the third floor of the Leeds City Campus building, at 1 Trevelyan Square, Leeds LS1 6AE.

You need to swipe in with your University ID card to gain access to the Leeds City Campus, including the library. If you are primarily based at the Leeds City Campus, you should already have card access (if your card doesn't work, please contact Reception during staffed hours).

If you are primarily based at the Horsforth Campus, you are welcome to visit the City Campus Library and will have full use of our facilities and collections (including borrowing privileges), however, you will need to ask for your card to be programmed to enable access to the building. Visit Reception at the Leeds City Campus during staffed hours to request this.

Inter-site reservations service

If you’d like to borrow a book that is available on the shelves at the Horsforth Campus Library (but not the Leeds City Campus Library) you can use the inter-site reservations service to reserve it and it will be delivered to the Leeds City Campus Library for you to collect. See Renew, return and reserve for more details.

Library locker (Coming soon!)

There will also be a pick-up locker on the ground floor of the Leeds City Campus building. We will add more information here as soon as this service is up and running.
