Practitioner journals are publications with a focus on a particular field or profession (such as teaching). The articles published in this type of publication are primarily written by professionals or practitioners in that field and focus on providing practical information on particular strategies or working practices for others working or studying in that field.
The library subscribes to a number of practitioner journals for teachers.
Impact is the termly journal of the Chartered College. It connects research findings to classroom practice, with a focus on the interests and voices of teachers and educators.
We don't have a subscription to this title but lots of articles are freely available online. Membership is free for everyone studying to become a teacher for the duration of their studies. Find out more on the Impact web page.
