Postgraduate researchers

PhD students can choose which referencing style to use in consultation with their supervisor.

The Library's focus is on supporting APA, the referencing system used by all undergraduate and taught postgraduate (MA/MSc) students. The support we can offer for other styles is limited.

Harvard referencing

This Harvard guide is only for students repeating Level 6 and taught postgraduate students who used Harvard at the start of their studies.
