In response to the current cost of living crisis and to support our students and staff at this difficult time, the Library will no longer be changing fines on late returns.
All existing fines will be waived, although replacement charges for lost/damaged items (£15 per item) will remain.
Automatic renewals will now continue for 9 months from issue unless an item is reserved by another user.
Please note that reserved items are not renewable, and your account will be blocked should a reserved item not be returned by the due date. We appreciate your support in keeping high-demand items available and offer a free postal returns service for those unable to attend on campus.
Information regarding the Library policy on lost or damaged items can be found on our website Regulations, fines and charges - Borrow, renew and reserve - Leeds Trinity University Library at Leeds Trinity University.
If you have any concerns about your Library account, please contact us as soon as possible – we are always happy to help.
More information on the Helping You with the Cost package can be found on MyLTU via the Student Info Point tile, or visit the Helpdesk in the Andrew Kean Learning Centre.
Exams, dissertations, essays, oh my!
We know how busy this time of year can be with so many things to think about!
That's why the Library is now sending out monthly account summaries to all students and staff to let you know which books and other items you have on loan.
If you spot anything that you think shouldn't be on your Library account just let us know and we'll look into it.
