Accessibility Statement

This is an accessibility statement for the Leeds Trinity University Library website. It is a minimal statement - we are working on a complete accessibility statement for the new website.

Leeds Trinity University Library is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities and to improve continually the user experience for everyone.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Leeds Trinity University Library website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Our goal is to ensure that the new Library website conforms to current standards as far as possible within the limitations of our content management system. We will continue to put pressure on the system supplier, Springshare, to develop their products to fully conform to accessibility standards.
